About Water Purification
Do you want your drinking water to be as clean and safe as possible? A water purification system can remove biological contaminants, chemical pollutants, toxins, and dissolved particles from water. It uses both water filtration and reverse osmosis.
Water filters can absorb particulates so they don’t enter your water system. Since no single filter can remove all unwanted substances, multiple filters are used: one multi-purpose filter, plus a number of single-purpose filters. The smaller the filter’s pore size, the smaller the particle it can successfully absorb. Most can’t absorb contaminants that have dissolved in the water.
Reverse osmosis systems use specially designed semi-permeable membranes or filters to concentrate substances dissolved in the water so they can be removed. They remove biological contaminants like protozoa, bacteria and viruses very effectively, and remove common chemical contaminants like lead effectively. To remove volatile organic compounds (VOCs), heavy metals, herbicides, pesticides, and pollutants such as arsenic and fluoride, additional filters would be required.
The experts at Paul the Plumber can help you understand what should be removed from your water and what purification system can best accomplish that so your water is as safe as possible.

Called Paul on Valentine’s Day, today, Sunday, 2/14/21. They were very responsive. They were helpful and friendly. I was charged only $345 and it was a pretty complicated job with wall cutting required. The copper pipe on hose faucet on exterior brick had busted and was leaking. Had to cut inside house under sink. Didn’t put the hose back as third hose on exterior for multiple reasons but primarily because we would have to remove the bathroom sink completely. A lot of plumbing parts are sold out too per this odd hard freeze with schools and roads shut down. Replace pipe and end piece. Paul was very knowledgeable and friendly by phone. He has a good team that was helpful along the way as well. Deborah did great with communicating and scheduling as well. I highly recommend them.
Paul and his employees were all terrific, I honestly can't say enough good things about them! They were on time, very communicative, upfront about everything. My situation required me to leave and go buy a new toilet and they had another appointment, but they made sure to come back to my house after that appointment and were here well into the evening (way past working hours) to ensure that everything got taken care of and handled! I appreciate it so much! We will ALWAYS use Paul the Plumber for our plumbing needs and highly recommend that you call them for all of yours! Great people!
